Chuck P.Co-Owner (Namesake) | chuck_p@pascaleswines.com | | In 1978 Chuck, along with his mother, Millie, and brother, Neal, purchased Pascale's Liquors, our Liverpool location. At the time he also worked at Glenora Winery, in the Finger Lakes Region, with winemaker John Williams, of Frog's Leap fame. In 1982 Chuck & Neal decided to test the waters in the restaurant industry and opened Pascale Wine Bar & Restaurant with partner and head chef Etienne Merle. The restaurant became Syracuse's first four diamond, four star restaurant, and has been awarded Best Award of Excellence for their wine list in Wine Spectator for 21 years and running. After purchasing Liquor Square in 1999, Chuck and brother Neal have turned it into a true wine emporium, with the largest selection and variety of wines in Central New York.
Chuck has also been a wine judge for numerous competitions including the NY State Fair from 1985-1990, for the Beverage Tasting Institute from 1985-1992 and 1987-1991 Panelist for the American Annual Wine Event.
