This is an amazing wine with a great taste. Plus, you can't beat the price. I've bought it as a gift several times and everyone loved it!

Wonderfully smooth wine with a peppery finish from Spain. Gorgeous color. This is the wine I bring out for company.

This is the only champagne I would recommend. We had it for our wedding toast and now two years later we still have people ask us about it! My wife sticks her nose up at champagne, but not this one! If you like real dry champagnes that you have to plug your nose to drink, you will not like this one. It is very fruity smelling and has just the right amount of bubbly sweetness that will make it easy to say, "is there another bottle?"

I tasted Hogue's Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend last night for the very first time and I fell instantaneously in love with it! It is the SMOOTHESTof any red wines I have ever tasted! I've been trying to convert from chardonnay for a couple of years and try cabs and merlots off and on and have never made a connection with any of them until HOGUE CABERNET SAUVIGNON/MERLOT BLEND! I told my husband he should take the glass from me as I wanted to drink it too fast - it was just such a smooth feeling going down! I will definitely be buying it and ordering it in restaurants where they serve it in the future.

The review on this site is very close to my experience. The first taste is very surprising, juicy, almost effervescent, the fruit really comes through. Then medium body and flavorful finish. Not a full bodied finish; to my taste, but very nice. I enjoyed with a chicken meal and by itself.

While I'm not a big fan of blended scotch, like any other types there are good and bad blends. This is a very good blend that is sweet with hints of vanilla and a very quick finish. The flavours are so light that this could be enjoyed by a non-scotch drinker either neat, or with a little bit of water. In my opinion this is the best scotch in it's price range, and I easily enjoyed it more than those scotches twice the price. The affordability of this price is one of the reasons I marked this as excellent, as this is a scotch to be enjoyed, not to sit in a display on a shelf. Enjoy.

Very sweet, and very strong. Worth every penny when used in moderation. I suggest mixing the first time, unless you have a tolerance to high proofs. They say 150 herbs, and It seems like all of them have a place on one's taste buds...once you get past the burning sensation when taken straight. About the closest thing to legal absinthe I have ever found!

I would like to lie and give it a bad rating as that way there would be more for me but alas I was taught to share............ A suprisingly wonderful, full and "intriguing" wine. In a room full of differentiating palates, the one wine that pleased everyone.

Glenora Dry Riesling

If you don't like the regular reislings due to higher residual sugars (sweeter), try the dry. Beautiful apple, pear, and floral notes. Not as crisp-dry as a pinot gris, but not as sweet as a reisling. A PERFECT in-between light crispy wine.

My wife and I opened a bottle one Sunday afternoon. It had been in my wine drawer for some time. Had fogotten why I had purchased. I was wonderful stuff. Tastes of rasberries. I would highly recommend alone or with red sauce on pasta or tastes particularly good with chocolate. Very tasty.

One of the most beautiful wine experiences I've ever had. So rich yet delicate it spoke poetry to our palettes and enhanced our dining pleasure 10 fold. I have since purchased several cases (of 2005) and can say with delight that I have been amazed at how many different cuisines it pairs well with. It serves seafood, steak, salad and even indian style masala with uplifting, enhancing and magical finesse. It tastes so softly wonderful on the palette by itself or with food that the price is not the factor, its the flavor, a hint of sweet, a rich yet unassuming dryness similar to a chenin blanc or savignon blanc yet so well balanced I think everyone would love it!

So many people feel intimated when selecting a bottle of wine to bring to a dinner party, particularly if the host or hostess really knows wine. If it's a hearty meal featuring garlic or red meat, this is the wine to bring. Beautiful in the glass and with a warm oak nose, this full-bodied wine hints of blackberries and blueberries. I guarantee this wine will impress.

Amazing wine for the price. Intense, yet so very smooth. I have served this wine to casual wine drinkers and serious aficionados. They all had the same smile on their faces after the first sip.

As a fan of Malbec and Argentinian wines I've felt Las Hormigas is one of the few wines is inexpensive and consistent enough vintage after vintage to merit repurchasing multiple times. It has faired very well at many grilling parties, with marinated Rib Eye and New York Strip
